Zhangjiagang part 2

On one of the days I was in Zhangjiagang I took a 62km bike ride out to the Yangtze River and up along the river to find Dows plant. I past many large chemical plants and a lot of construction sites along the river being developed. After leaving the river I headed inland and visited a pagoda / park up on a hill. It was the first day of May which is another big holiday in China. Many folks had the first 3 days in May off from work.  The pagoda is in a park like setting with trails and walkways and a man made pond. A lady was renting fishing rods to the kids and adults to catch gold fish swimming in the pond.  You were give a rod, slice of bread for bait and a small bucket to put your catch in. Little plastic carrying aquariums were available to buy,  to take home your catch. To my surprise it was very easy to catch the gold fish.   There were many families out enjoying an afternoon walk in the woods.
